Mineral complementary feed for cats to stabilize the liver functions and in cases of metabolic disorders with hepatosis risk.
Composition: dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, powder of nettle, celandine and St. John’s – wort, pollen.
Analytical constituents: calcium 20%, phosphorus 8%, total sugar 4%, sodium 0%.
Nutritional additives: vitamins (g/kg): choline chloride 50, vitamin C 5, vitamin E 0,5; trace element (mg/kg): selenium (coated granulated sodium selenite, 3b802) 50.
Choline chloride is required for a normal metabolism of lipids and cholesterol, it decreases accumulation of triglycerides in the liver cells – hepatocytes, inhibits development of the fatty liver and improves utilization of the accumulated fatty acids. Choline participates in strengthening of the cell membranes and prevention of their damages. Vitamin E and selenium act as antioxidants and protect the liver cell membranes against the adverse activity of peroxides. Pollen are natural liver protectors. They are rich in vitamins A, D, E and group B, essential amino acids, minerals and substances stimulating metabolism. As a result, metabolism is activated, also fat utilization in hepatocytes, particularly in cases of metabolic depression, the nerve functions are stabilized. Herbs – nettle, St. John’s wort and celandine contain a complex of biologically active substances that stimulates metabolism, secretion of digestive juices, including bile, inhibits inflammation and facilitates regeneration of damaged tissue, reduces spasms and pain, acts sedative.
Use to improve the metabolism in cases of obesity and the liver fatty dystrophy and hepatitis; also, for body strengthening in cases of the nervous system overload and physical exhaustion, bone fractures and impotence, especially for older animals. Administer Hepapurs as a liver protector in case of exogenous (infections, feed contaminated with pathogenic fungi, pesticides etc.) and endogenous toxicosis.
Use. 1 capsule / 2 kg body weight 1 – 2 times a day.
If the animal is hypersensitive to pollen, the usage should be withdrawn.
